Today was very interesting. I had my students judge their peers' podcasts. I have never seen students so engaged in the learning process as I did today. It made me realize that educators must adjust to the needs of our students. They are more than capable of reaching the goals and objectives set by the curricula and state when we teach in a language they can understand.
Learning is active and should be engaging. Too often I walk into a teachers class and find that students are not engaged and are passive. If we are to ever change the landscape of education we must alter how we teach.
